Bing & I

This is a relationship blog detailing the events, misadventures, and general stupidity inherent in a relationship between people from radically different cultures. Bing is a native of China; I’m from one of those red states in the central United. That leaves an awful lot of room for anecdotes, and if you’re interested in that sort of thing this place is for you. If you aren’t, no harm – just don’t expect much more than that.

After discussing the idea of having a site to catalog certain aspects of our relationship, Bing and I decided the best way to make this possible and fulfilling for both of us would be if we wrote posts in our own tongue: That is, I’d write in English and she’d write in Chinese. A bilingual blog, allowing people from a variety of countries to read and take from this place what they will.

That doesn’t preclude her making the occasional post or comment in English should the mood strike, but don’t expect any Chinese from me. Writing in English is challenging enough. I hope this format works for everyone and that you find this site a bit more interesting than your garden variety blog.
